Schools and SEND

Bring the ocean into your learning environment.

Ocean Quest helps teachers, science departments and SEND leaders turn marine sustainability into an active, supported learning experience.

01

Curriculum relevance

Sessions can support learning around ecosystems, pollution, human impact, sustainability and environmental responsibility. Learning objectives are agreed with the school before delivery.

02

Session formats

Delivery can be planned for a class, focused group, enrichment activity, sustainability event or pilot. Group size, rotation and duration are shaped around equipment, timetable and learner needs.

03

SEND and accessibility

Comfort, pacing, sensory needs, interaction method and individual readiness should be considered together. We plan with staff who know the learners and never assume one format suits everyone.

04

Safeguarding and supervision

School staff retain responsibility for safeguarding and supervision. Delivery arrangements, space, hygiene, risk controls and staff roles are agreed before a session.

05

Expected outcomes

Projects may explore understanding, curiosity, confidence, attention or environmental awareness. Any evaluation is proportionate to the setting and reported in context.
